GeocodingDVD Appends Income, Population and More to Your Address File

GeocodingDVD has always converted addresses to Census Geographies. But now it will also append important demographic data from the US Census Bureau's American Community Survey. So, in addition to basic variables such as Total Population, Age, Race and Hispanic Origin, the 2013 GeocodingDVD will also include Income, Housing Values, Rent, Educational Attainment, and more.

As always the GeocodingDVD will match your addresses to their latitude/longitude coordinates, append a zip+4 and census designations such as block, block group and tract so you can profile your address list The basic GeocodingDVD now has 63 important variables from the 2011 American Community Survey. We also offer a GeocodingDVD with 2013 Estimates and 2018 Projections.

If you are interested in looking at changes over time the GeocodingDVD also comes with 2013 Estimates/2018 Projections which will append 60+ variables from 2013 and from 2018 giving you many of these same variables as well.

And as with previous releases, our GeocodingDVD automatically generates ArcGIS shapefiles for importing into your mapping software. Now in one simple step you can take your list of addresses and create a layer of points that are instantly usable in ArcGIS – no further conversions or processing is necessary!

Our GeocodingDVD appends historic 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000 Census tract or block group codes in addition to the 2010 Census block code. So if you want to look at historic data you can line it up with your address list. Or if your addresses are based upon an historic survey you can then append historic census data based upon the census geographies that we will have appended for you.

The source data for geocoding addresses are the most up-to-date TIGER/Line® Shapefiles. The demographic data comes from the 2011 American Community Survey, 5-year estimates and if you select the GeocodingDVD with Estimates it will be the 2013 Basic Estimates and 2018 Projections. The GeocodingDVD is a stand-alone product that offers accurate, high-speed geocoding and an affordable annual license.
