Education Demographics for 2008 and 2013

GeoLytics now has educational data for 2008 and projected to 2013. These data are available on the Estimates Professional 2008/2013 and include school enrollment and educational attainment, both broken out by gender. In addition to the educational data, when you buy the Estimates Professional you also get a comprehensive selection of data on population, households, income, housing, consumer expenditures, and much more for both 2008 and 2013.

The educational data set includes complete tables of educational attainment for the population 25 and over broken out by gender. This includes variables such as the number of adults with graduate degrees, college degrees, associates degrees, high school completion or GED, all the way down to no schooling at all. A second table of variables includes the population aged 3 and above who are in school. This table counts the number of students in each grade broken out by public vs. private schools. This table also includes break outs by gender as well.

The Estimates Professional DVD has GeoLytics’ built-in map viewer that lets the user create thematic maps of variables, as well as quickly and easily export data and geographic boundaries. All of the data on the Estimates Professional, including the education data, are available in 6 geographies: nation, states, counties, tracts, block groups, and zip codes. Users can also run a radius around a latitude/longitude point.
