Demographic Data for Urban Planners and Researchers

GeoLytics has created the Planners Package with 3 decades of demographic data, making comparing data across time easier than ever before.

The PLANNERS PACKAGE includes the following three datasets:

* Estimates Professional 2007/2012
* 2000 Long Form
* 1990 Long Form in 2000 Boundaries

The Planners Package is ideal for researchers and analysts who want to do time series analysis from 1990 to 2012. For the 1990 Long Form in 2000 Boundaries, we convert the data from the original 1990 boundaries to the 2000 boundaries. The package also includes the 2000 Long Form, which is the most comprehensive set of socio-economic data of its kind. Lastly, it has the most up-to-date demographic data in the Estimates Professional 2007/2012.

We also have the PLANNERS PACKAGE PLUS that includes all of the above data sets, PLUS the Census 1980 in 2000 Boundaries. With this product researchers can analyze demographic trends from 1980 to 2012. All of the data is in the same zip code, tract, block group, and county boundaries.

Like all of our CensusCD products, users can also extract data and geographic boundaries, and use them as input files for other software programs such as SAS, SPSS, Access, Oracle, Excel, and mapping software such as ArcView and MapInfo. The products also have a built-in mapping program so you can make your own thematic maps of the variables. For more information go to:
